Unrefined Basel designs and creates interior furniture and items for clients and businesses worldwide.

Who We Are

We are a trio of brothers who despite 1000 km distance between each other embarked upon a journey to create unique craftsmanship to bring to life minimalist and timeless concrete interior objects.

Our design studio and office is located in a beautiful village called Ettingen in Switzerland, just a sort drive from Basel. We manufacture our object in beautifuk industrial town of Stettin - just above 1 hour from Berlin. We are inspired by natural motifs and modern architectural design to create unique products that are truly breathtaking.

The idea for Unrefined was borne in 2014. We were invited by a close friend to assist him with creating his own traditional mouth blown glass lighting collection. His love for the physical connection of his work got us thinking. Step-by-step, we decided to jump full force into the world of concrete, mouth blown glass and steel.

Eventually, in 2015, we decided to launch our own design and manufacturing company called “Unrefined Basel”.

What We Do

Through hand-made techniques and expert application, we create interior items such as coffee tables, lighting, bowls, dinner tables, sinks and washbasins. We manipulate concrete, wood, steel and glass to create breathtaking pieces that you’ll love to have in your home or office.
